2012, the year of consolidation in the IEMP
In fulfilling its functions and developing the strategic plan 'Innovation and Commitment 2009-2012', Institute for the Study of Public Prosecutions, "university and publishing" the Attorney General's Office, outlined its action plan for the year starts, which include the internationalization goals of this special unit, training for new governors, mayors and municipal ombudsmen in the country, as well as academic exercises that enhance the skills of public officials and thus ensure better service to the general public.
With six basic elements (internationalization, virtualization, regionalization, skills recognition, certification of people and marketing plan), the project aims to strengthen IEMP as the "New Colombian citizen," the graduates to promote conciliation court as an alternative for the solution conflict, the signing of cooperation agreements with entities inter national and international networks of trainers and researchers previously established.
Similarly, the IEMP will continue to develop international conferences on topics such as disciplinary law, recruitment and public budgeting, public management, and new editions of his "days of reflection," in which they discussed issues of national interest the pension system, royalties and draft judicial reform, among others.
Internationalization of cooperation, leadership, corruption, public policy and accusatory penal system, the same as the impact assessment of IEMP are other priorities in the areas of research and training.
Regarding your editorial role, the Institute for the Study of Public Prosecutions for 2012 projected an approximately 60 publications, many of them thanks to a partnership led by cooperation agreements. Among the highlights is a future work devoted to the prospects of the Attorney General's Office between now and 2030, which will celebrate its 200 anniversary.
