Attorney Cartagena led workshop on Open Government Index

 

A District Board Regulatory Compliance Strategic Corruption was led by the Attorney General's Office in the city of Cartagena, an event during which they reviewed the status of the District against each of the indicators comprising the Index Open Government ( IGA) and was evaluated for the period 2010-2011.

During the bench, headed by Deputy Attorney Decentralization and Local Authorities, Carlos Augusto Díaz Mesa, with the assistance of the regional prosecutor Bolivar, Orlando Pinilla, the provincial prosecutor of Cartagena, Johana Rago, Mayor Campo Elias Tehran district cabinet members, it emphasized the importance of moving forward with good practices implemented in the municipality of Cartagena as the Customer Care Center "A" and the information system "SIGOB".

The local leader expressed his commitment to implement immediate strategies aimed at strengthening the implementation of strategic anti-corruption standards. In this regard it was agreed to follow-up meeting with the Attorney General's Office on Saturday March 10. The mayor will also review the Economic Transparency Portal Ministry of Finance to analyze key information from the district administration towards the citizens.

In order to expand this year to all municipalities in the department, the special prosecutor issued an invitation together with the governor of Bolivar, Juan Carlos Gossain, in announcing to all mayors to a Bureau of Compliance Departmental Strategic Corruption, an event that will be supported by the Inter-American Development Bank. This round table was held in the Yellow Room of the Governor of Bolivar on Friday 9 March and will be attended by representatives of institutions of territorial and national levels.
