Attorney General's Office celebrates the work of local journalists on World Press Freedom

In commemoration of World Press Freedom, Attorney General's Office, Alejandro Ordóñez Maldonado, extends greetings to the communicators and journalists in the country, highlighting its valuable work in the construction of a Colombia with truth, justice and equity.

The Chief Public Prosecutor notes the need to ensure permanent protection and full freedom to journalism, from the certainty that pluralistic and independent journalists and strengthen the institutional shield and democracy of our Nation.

In its mission to be the guarantor of security of Colombians, the Attorney General's Office will continue to support the work of journalists and working to prevent violent or criminal interests drown out the voices of those who every day offer the country the assurance of its reality.
