Attorney General's Office conducted the first meeting between ombudsmen in southwestern Antioquia

The Provincial Office Fredonia, Antioquia, recently conducted the first meeting of representatives of the jurisdiction in the municipality of Titiribi (Antioquia), which were given guidelines for the effective conduct of their duties as prosecutors.

At that meeting, the guidelines were set for the formation of the Southwestern Association of Ombudsmen, Antioquia, in order to work in harmony and improve the quality of service to the citizens of this area.

Also during the day the ombudsmen were trained in discipline issues, citizen participation, monitoring budget execution, government procurement, prison conditions and protect the rights of internal displacement, verification of health care in the state social enterprises and SISBEN, public services, and finally in the track community homes.

Early warning to mayors and agents of Fredonia, Antioquia

In developing its preventive role, the Attorney General's Office issued an alert to the mayors and representatives of the municipality of Fredonia (Antioquia), for compliance with existing regulations to ensure the protection of public health of the inhabitants in this region.

The Control Agency reminded the duty to ensure compliance with the National Land Transport Code, the National Charter for the Protection of Animals and the Law 746 of 2002 governing the ownership and registration of potentially dangerous dogs.

Similarly, were required to report how they have arranged the program implementation of zoonoses and Municipal Coso, and what budget earmarked for this in the Municipal Development Plan.
