Attorney General's Office confirmed a former director of Indeportes dismissal in Cordoba

The Attorney General's Office confirmed the sanction of removal and general disqualification for a period of ten years against Mr. Gregory Manuel Salgado Palomo, in his capacity as director of Indeportes in Córdoba, for providing false documents to establish the requirements for the position.

The public prosecutor confirmed that Mr. Salgado Palomo took possession of the offices of the Governor's advisor and director of Indeportes Cordoba, certifying professional title of senior economist at the University of the Atlantic, which turned out to be false, since the same Higher Education Institution certified that the documents were not issued by the university and the discipline not studied at the School of Economics.

The investigation took office as an adviser to Governor's Office since November 21, 2007 until 27 December of that year, and as director of Indeportes Cordoba from the December 27, 2007 until February 19, 2008.

In resolving the appeal, the Second Deputy Attorney General for Administrative Supervision reproached Mr. Salgado Palomo, knowing that he had no legal requirements or those provided in the manual functions of the Government of Cordoba, had not provided documents correspond to reality, a fact which was structured with the disciplinary sanctioned as a very serious offense committed by way of fraud.
