The Attorney General's Office confirmed the sanction of suspension in the exercise of the office for a term of six months to the Ati Bogota exconcejal Seygundiba Quigua Izquierdo, improper use of official cars to drive while intoxicated.

The events under investigation occurred on November 3, 2010, when Mrs. Ati Seygundiba Quigua Izquierdo, drunk, crashed the vehicle he was driving into the building located on the Carrera 4 A # 25C 17 Bogotá.

The prosecution explained that driving a motor vehicle is a dangerous activity is increased when the person has consumed alcohol and then concluded that the council violated the disciplinary system to drive the assigned vehicle irresponsibly and improperly, the result of which caused damage to the vehicle.

For the DA, the opinion of Legal Medicine is evidence of intoxication of the involved because it is an opinion authorized by the Act and was issued by the competent body.

Regarding the involvement of functional duties, the attorney said the improper use of official car driving recklessly while intoxicated, the disrespect for traffic laws and breach their duties as public servant.
