Attorney General's Office filed Ecopetrol president of research

 The Attorney General's Office ordered the discontinuance of the proceedings adelantas to verify acts attributed to Mr. Javier Genaro Gutierrez Pemberthy, in his capacity as President of Ecopetrol SA

The official inquiry had originated from information related to a possible irregularity for allegedly receiving a combined allocation of public funds.
 
The prosecution raised supporting evidence showing that Mr. Gutierrez did not receive Pembarthy double assignment as president of the state oil and pension by SA Electric Interconnection

After reviewing the records issued by the Department of Human Talent Management and Coordination ISA Customer Ecopetrol was found that Mr. Gutierrez served Pemberthy ISA SA until January 21, 2007 and that his pension he was recognized as of January 22 of that year.

The payment or receipt of pension was suspended on that date until end of providing services to Ecopetrol.

The evaluation of the inquiry is concluded that admission to Ecopetrol occurred January 22, 2007, which shows that at no time received a double allowance.
