Attorney General's Office is urgent requirement for environmental authorities of the country for purposes of new emergency winter

The Attorney General's Office, through the Division for Environmental and Agricultural Affairs, called on all environmental authorities urgently inform the actions that have advanced to the attention of the winter season.

The governor of Cundinamarca, Alvaro Vargas Cruz, District Secretary of Environment, Margarita Florez Alonso, and the CEOs of the regional autonomous corporations, must report to the Control Agency plans, works and strategies that have been implemented in areas of risk and / or affected by the new winter season in the areas of their jurisdiction.

The Attorney General is concerned that despite warnings about the imminence of a new rainy season and the significant allocation of resources, both to mitigate the effects of the previous season to prevent further flooding, hundreds of Colombians currently face adverse effects of the rains .
