Attorney General's Office led working group to review governance against the crisis caused by the rainy season in San Sebastian de Buenavista (Bolivar)

By directive of the Attorney General's Office, Alejandro Ordóñez Maldonado, and in order to review implementation of mitigation works to the problems generated by the rainy season in San Sebastian de Buenavista, the Public Ministry on Wednesday will lead a working group in this village of Magangué (Bolivar) with authorities of national and regional level.

The session takes place four months after the Attorney General to travel to this area of ​​the country in developing a humanitarian journey organized by officials of the entity and know the difficulties faced by people because of the winter. At that time, the Chief Public Prosecutor ordered a special follow the case and agreed with residents to promote the necessary institutional support and implementation of public policies in defense of their rights.

A work table are called the governor and the mayor of Bolivar Magangué, with their cabinets, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Colombia Humanitarian program, the Department of Water, the National Planning Department, the Adaptation Fund, the Agricultural Bank, the Superintendency of Services and Electricaribe.

The meeting will begin at 8 am on Wednesday in the ballroom of the Compensation Fund Comfamiliar in the municipality of Magangué.

The Attorney General's Office, through its Division for Decentralisation and Local Authorities and their regional and provincial prosecutors, will continue to accompany the investment in mitigation projects, housing and health in this and other areas of the country affected by the rainy season .
