Attorney General's Office opened an investigation against former officials of the municipal administration of Ciudad Bolivar (Antioquia)

What possible conclusion abuse of contracts, forgery of public documents and breach of the principles governing government contracting, the Attorney General's Office opened a disciplinary investigation against Jorge Zapata and Juan Montoya Eliezer Velez Alvaro Tobon, in their capacity as former mayor and former secretary of education, Culture and Tourism city of Ciudad Bolivar (Antioquia), respectively.

The evidence gathered evidence contractual irregularities in five orders of subscribed services in order to train teachers in basic education primary, secondary and middle, signed by Mr. Montoya Zapata in April 2011 and which was responsible for auditing Mr. Velez Tobon.

The alleged conduct attributed to the disciplined are related to inconsistencies in the signing of the orders of service, the subscription dates thereof, payment orders, accounts receivable, the time they were received to the satisfaction of the objects hired, as well as inconsistencies in one of the contractors according to the certificate of existence and representation of the Chamber of Commerce.
