Attorney General's Office participated in the workshop on Anti-Corruption and Integrity Observatory in Cali

The draft Anti-Corruption and Integrity Monitoring seeks to state entities, civil society and private sector have better elements for decision making in the fight against this scourge.

The Attorney General's Office recently participated in the coffee conversation "Anticorruption and Integrity Monitoring, a chance for all", carried out in the city of Cali.
 
The event had about 100 attendees including members of the Regional Commission Moralization, municipal, public providers, representatives of academia, civil society and private sector.
 
The Attorney presented in these tables work experience in the fight against corruption and refers to the importance of organizing the observatory so as to allow capture, analyze and systematically generate relevant information to detect and prevent risks and acts of corruption in public administration.
 
The draft Anti-Corruption and Integrity Monitoring, involving Transparency Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, the Attorney General's Office and members of the National Commission Moralization, is intended to provide input to state entities , the private sector and civil society bodies have better elements for decision making in the fight against this scourge.
 
Workshop on the Governance Index
 
Also in the capital of Valle del Cauca, the Attorney chaired a workshop on Open Government Index (GEI), during which we evaluated the results in the Municipality of Cali.
 
The workshop was attended by the ombudsman of Cali and the City Comptroller, as well as professional teams. The main conclusion is that the mayor of that city must improve its visibility indicators for procurement and enforcement of the Law on Archives.
 
It was agreed in the event that the bodies of local control and socialize this information be included as a priority for the next meeting of the Regional Commission Moralization Valle del Cauca.
