Attorney General's Office reiterates call for transparency in the selection of managers of public hospitals

The Attorney General's Office in the monitoring process for competitions of merit for the election of managers of the State Social Enterprises, reiterates the call to the governors, mayors and members of the boards, the obligation to comply with the current regulations on the subject.

In the above process of preventive and surveillance measures, there has been particular emphasis on monitoring the processes for selecting assortments managers in social enterprises of the State of the Special District of Bogota, as Simon Bolivar hospital, Usme and Nazareth, among other. Also are being investigated to determine possible irregularities in the municipalities of Quinchia, Santa Rosa de Cabal (Risaralda), Monteria, Lorica and Sahagun (Cordoba).

They are also given special attention processes underway in the departments of Arauca, Caquetá, Cundinamarca, Huila, Nariño, Santander, Tolima and Valle del Cauca.

This Control Agency reiterates that it will monitor the above contests merits to ensure that those who assume the managements of the ESE are professionals of the highest quality, with its management to be developed, and will investigate complaints that have been made.
