Attorney General's Office sanctioned by dismissal and disability for 15 years teaching school priest Pereira (Risaralda) sexual harassment under 14

The Attorney General's Office found the priest responsible for disciplinary Jairo Cardona Alzate, a professor of School El Dorado, the city of Pereira (Risaralda), sexual harassment under 14 years, what has been punished by dismissal and general disqualification from holding public office for a term of fifteen (15) years.
 
The teacher referred officiating priest while at school and church ceremonies repeatedly punished the child victim of the facts in hours of rest, demanding to stay in the classroom to study mathematics, but his intention was to commit abusive sexual acts. Such abuses were presented in an iterative way until such time that the child confessed what had happened in spite of being bullied and blackmailed by Mr. Cardona Alzate.

Given the conduct in question, there is evidence of violation of discipline in Articles 23 and 48 of Act 734 of 2002, to act in breach of the duty imposed on him in his capacity as public servant, qualifying the offense as very serious .

In the lower court ruling that was handed down by the Regional Office of Risaralda and was firm in not having been appealed by the defendant, states that the disciplined was guilty of misconduct "in violating the sexual integrity of a student, as recognized in its free version, which was given in presence of his counsel, this behavior causing serious harm to society, because not only teaching but its status as a priest who professes belief in a higher, sparking a general repudiation not only the face of weaker students, but also against other students, the educational community and society at large. "
