Attorney General's Office upheld dismissal of seven teachers in the department of Cauca

The Attorney General's Office confirmed the sanction of removal and general disqualification for a period of 10 years holding public office for seven teachers in the department of Cauca, to find a disciplinary charge of filing false documents for registration in the public competition of merit of teachers and principals Afro.

Teachers sanctioned are: Olga Nury Garcia Hurtado, a professor at the School of Rural Mixed Cabecitas Micay Lopez, Jose Ernesto Riascos Perlaza, a professor at Playa Grande Rural Mixed School of Micay Chuare Lopez, Jose Eloy Riascos Riascos, professor of the School The Conception of Micay Lopez, Patricio Suarez Vellaizac, professor of the School of San Bartolo Lopez Micay; lerys of Jesus Riascos Riascos, a professor at the beach What a Rural Mixed School of Micay Lopez; Emilse Yaruth Riascos Riascos, professor of the School Two Creeks of Lopez and Mary Adalgiza Riascos Micay Riascos, professor of the School of Higuana Belén López de Micay.

The Public Ministry investigation found that gave false documents with those who sought to demonstrate the superior qualities of normal school and meet the requirements set forth in Decree 0125 of 2006, which was called the contest.

The Second Attorney's Office for Administrative Supervision said that once confronted with the documents submitted with the certificates from the educational authorities found that they did not correspond to the academic background of applicants, who so lightly tried to escape responsibility by arguing they were assaulted in their good faith by people who were trained by conducting workshops to achieve the harmonization of requirements which lacked.

The attorney criticized this behavior demonstrates disregard for legality of the procedures and found to be an unfortunate example from the other participants in the process of merit and in particularly to the students, who expect from their teachers an example of ethics and responsibility .
