Attorney advance the verbal process against former mayor and former secretary of Infrastructure Villavicencio (Meta)

For possible irregularities in the context of manifest urgency enacted in 2007 by the administration of Villavicencio, the Attorney General's Office cited a public hearing to Mr. Hector Manuel Chacón and Pedro Caamano Alejandro Rojas Enriquez, in their capacity as mayor Infrastructure and secretary of that municipality, respectively.

The diligence of a verbal nature will be held on February 7 from 9:00 in the morning in the hearing room located at the headquarters of the Attorney General's Office.

Apparently, in the context of manifest urgency enacted in 2007 for emergency winter, he would have hired an architect to carry out works in the areas of beach and Nohora Rica, despite being disqualified from contracting with the State.

Therefore, Mr. Caamano Chacon could see liable to disciplinary action in authorizing the above works and intervene in the processing and execution of contracts with this particular state, which was fall within legal cause of inability to hire.
 
Also Mr. Rojas Enriquez, in his capacity as Secretary of Infrastructure Villavicencio (Meta), could fall within a disciplinary offense to intervene in the processing and implementation of such state contracts.

In that sense, for the Attorney General's investigation had a duty to require the contractor to-date presentation of his disciplinary history and the study of these.
