Attorney convened a public hearing to the Director General of Corpoamazonia

For alleged irregularities regarding use and management of resources from royalties, the Attorney General's Office cited a public hearing to Jose Ignacio Muñoz verbal Cordoba, current CEO of the Corporation for the Sustainable Development of Southern Amazonia.

The events under investigation are related to the signing of a contract for the supply of hygiene items and cafe, whose purpose is, apparently, an operating cost, which was covered with revenue earmarking.

According to the evidence it relies on the record, the discipline could incur disciplinary offense to violate the provisions of Article 20 of Decree 416 of 2007, which states that the resources allocated to the regional autonomous corporations should be allocated to investment in projects related to the nature of its object, such as the preservation of the environment and renewable natural resources.

The Attorney provisionally classified the offense committed by Mr. Muñoz Cordoba as committed with grave grave fault.

Oral hearing will mark the March 8 at 9:30 am in room Smart headquarters of the Attorney General's Office, located on the third floor of the race 5 # 15-80.
