Attorney led training to promote respect for human rights by members of the Armed Forces

The Attorney General's Office carry out joint activities with members of the Armed Forces of Guaviare, in order to promote actions to protect human rights in the community of that department by the public servants of the National Police and National Army.

The agencies have designed a series of trainings, conferences and lectures illustrative of the good treatment by members of the security forces to the community, legal and constitutional framework of respect for human rights.

Pursuant to its Plan of Action, the Regional Office of Guaviare pursuing the consolidation of these training sessions with the commanders of the Army and Police Narcotics and the Commissioner of Family in the region.

The training sessions will be issued to each of the commands located in the municipalities of the department of Guaviare and have the support of the ombudsmen located in those authorities.
