Attorney takes action Vaupés preventive

• The objectives are to ensure rights of the disabled population and monitor the implementation of public policies in areas of health, education and food security for the inhabitants of the department.

The preventive role of the Attorney General's Office is one of the mechanisms for public entities and agencies to ensure the effective and efficient legal and constitutional provisions.

This function is also directed to avoid behaviors which materialize disciplinary offense and also warn of the possible infringement of the rights of citizens. In carrying out that task, the Regional Office undertook the following actions Vaupés:

Disabled population

Requested information from the municipal authorities of Mitu, Taraira, Caruru and the Government of Vaupés on public policy planning, rehabilitation and social integration to be taken to mitigate the needs of the population with physical, sensory and psychic.

Health

Wrote to the Secretary of Health Department to indicate whether the findings developed aimed at establishing the alleged responsibility of the company providing health Comfamiliar in the irregular transfer of membership during the period 2011.

Education

Another preventive care is required the Secretary of Education departmental information on the timely delivery of remittances and fuel for schools located in remote areas such as Apaporis, covering a population of approximately 330 students.
