City officials and department of Guajira and Magdalena will meet with Attorney Alejandro Ordóñez Maldonado table corruption compliance

 

The Attorney General's Office, Alejandro Ordóñez Maldonado, will chair a discussion with the municipal authorities and departments of Guajira and Magdalena, in order to spread their prevention message on public ethics and the importance of fully observing the law in the exercise of their duties.

The event will take place tomorrow, Tuesday April 10 in the city of Santa Marta from 8:00 am on July Otero Auditorium at the University of Magdalena. There the chief prosecutors presented the results of measuring the entity performed against each of the indicators that make up the Open Government Index (IGA) in the period 2010 to 2011.

Attending, in addition to the departmental and municipal Guajira and Magdalena, delegates of the Administrative Department of Public Service, the General Archive of the Nation, the Government Online program of the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications Directorate Fiscal Support of the Ministry of Finance, National Planning Department and the Superintendence of Public Services, entities that are part of the management of strategic information systems.

The Open Government Index (GEI) is a preventive strategy that includes monitoring the compliance strategy for combating corruption in territorial governance. The Attorney General's Office conducted the first national assessment for the period 2010 - 2011, the results to analyze what aspects should be strengthened in the management of territorial leaders and what are the success stories that must be replicated in other states.
