Closing arguments Attorney culminates in a disciplinary investigation into former mayor of Medellín (Antioquia) Alonso Salazar Jaramillo

 

The Attorney General's Office concluded in Medellín (Antioquia) the stage of closing arguments in the disciplinary process being conducted against the former mayor of Medellín (Antioquia), Alonso Salazar Jaramillo, for possible involvement in politics.

During the day on Monday, ending at 7:40 pm, the capital of Antioquia exmadantario and his lawyer, Alfonso Cadavid, presented closing arguments in the verbal process being conducted by the Attorney General for proactive monitoring Civil Service.

The research seeks to establish whether Mr. Salazar Jaramillo is disciplinarily responsible for disseminating to the media, in the electoral debate, information that compromises the criminal conduct of the candidate for mayor of Medellín, Luis Carlos Pérez Gutiérrez. In the process also seeks to clarify whether the exmandatario prison authorities informed of the facts he has knowledge.

The Attorney General for proactive monitoring of the Civil Service, Maria Eugenia Carreño, announced delivery of the decision will take place on February 15 this year, starting at 8:00 am in the Hearing Room of the Regional Office Antioquia, located at Carrera 56 A No. 49 A 30, Cosmos Building, in that city.
