Dismissal and disability confirmed by 10 years of municipal representative of Armenia (Quindio)

The Attorney General's Office, in a ruling on appeal, upheld the penalty of dismissal and inability to exercise general public for a term of ten (10) years Mr. Jhon Jairo Sánchez Gómez, as the municipal representative of Armenia (Quindío) to the date of the facts.

When he reproached disciplined fact have caused injury to two auxiliary police trying to prevent them fulfill their duties to admonish a contractor of the Personality of the municipality who urinated in public space in view of passers-by in Laurel Park sector of Armenia, Quindio. Similarly, the then municipal personero caused injury to Mrs. Nancy Gaitan Hernandez in the same place before mentioned, who reminded him that his function as personero were not to impede or attack the police auxiliary, facts that were found accredited with testimonial and documentary evidence to file a timely close.

The above behaviors were classified as serious offenses, and considering the characteristics of performance which used violence, intimidation and insults aimed at achieving a purpose described as auxiliary prevent high school students of the National Police carried out their work, the performance was framed within the tenets of fraud.

The appeal was resolved by the Regional Office of Quindio.
