In March and April 2012, the Attorney General's Office had a 72 percent favorable image, registering the highest in twelve years

• The figure, a historical reference to the Bank, is part of the survey conducted by Gallup Colombia every two months.

• The Attorney General is second in terms of favorability in the country, surpassed only by the military.

• In the same poll, the head of the Public Ministry, Alejandro Ordóñez Maldonado won a passing score compared to the previous period.

The Attorney General's Office set a 72% favorable image during March and April 2012, the survey carried out by Gallup Colombia with the most relevant institutions of the country.

The figure marks a historical precedent in the Public Ministry is the highest since the entity in the record submitted by the firm between December 2000 and today, and signifies a recognition by the Colombians to management on disciplinary matters , intervention and prevention has been accomplished under the leadership of Attorney General's Office, Alejandro Ordóñez Maldonado.

In this survey, the Attorney Registration is only surpassed by the military, which received an 81% approval rating.

With regard to poor image, the Attorney General's Office set a 18%, the second lowest in the survey (The Armed Forces have a 17%).

• Comptroller General of the Republic (70% favorable and 20% unfavorable)

• Attorney General's Office (66% favorable and 29% unfavorable)

• National Police (69% favorable and 29% unfavorable)

• Supreme Court (55% favorable and 38% unfavorable)

• Constitutional Court (61% favorable and 31% unfavorable)

• Congress (50% percent favorable and 43% unfavorable)

• Trade unions (54% favorable and 39% unfavorable)

• Colombian business class (62% favorable and 32% unfavorable)

• Media (71% favorable and 27% unfavorable)

The survey also measures the image of characters from the Colombian public life. In this section, the Attorney General's Office, Alejandro Ordóñez Maldonado, won one point compared to the previous period. The Chief Public Prosecutor has a 18% favorability among Colombians and only 7% of unfavorable reading.

The Gallup poll was conducted with 1200 Colombia interviews with seniors and all socioeconomic strata, located in the cities of Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla and Bucaramanga.
