By ruling on appeal, the Attorney General's Office upheld all parts failure Lysimachus sanction against Mr. Salcedo Marin, in his capacity as president of the Municipal Council of Genoa, Quindio, for the time of the events, suspended and disability for 12 months for disciplinary finding him responsible for not complying with a court decision.

Disobeyed the order by Salcedo Marin, for which he was charged with the disciplinary charge, was to be allowed to continue serving as mayor, Mr. Joseph Arnobius Ramirez, who had been convicted by the Criminal Court Circuit Calarcá, Quindío, the main sentence of 32 months in prison and permanent disability to exercise the office of councilor.
