Objections to former mayor of Yondo (Antioquia)

The Attorney General's Office made the statement of objections to Mr. Jorge Enrique Rodriguez Salcedo, in his capacity as mayor of Yondo (Antioquia), for allegedly unjustified increase in assets at the time of carrying out local repairs on a property owned your spouse.

The events under investigation are related to improvements to a property owned by the spouse of Mr. Rodriguez Salcedo, located in the municipality of Yondo, because so far the discipline has not demonstrated the appropriateness of resources for the payment of the said repairs which amounted to a sum exceeding one hundred eighty million dollars.

For the Public Ministry investigated could have obtained a capital increase unjustified, because the income from his involvement as mayor of Yondo and the relationship of particular goods and activities are not sufficient to explain the resources invested in the execution of works.

According to research, the amount of investment exceeds one hundred twenty million dollars as indicated by the disciplined free version, while the result of an appraisal indicates that the sum could reach 180 million pesos, of which so far only been credited the origin of 30 million dollars on behalf of a bank loan, leaving unexplained 150 million.

In formulating the statement of objections the second Attorney's Office for Administrative Supervision found that show a greater earning capacity and expenses shown by the person involved in 2008, without explanation in legal income to offset expenses incurred in the adaptation and remodeling building.

The foul was committed grave qualified provisionally as way of deceit.
