Office follows up on status of community in northern Bogota allegedly affected by station

The Attorney General's Office, through the Division for Environmental and Agricultural Affairs, is conducting a preventive action and management control to the Local Personality Usaquén and the District Department of Environment, in relation to the problems reported by residents of the Usaquén town, specifically the Real Tenerife building, located at Carrera 13 and Calle 106, by the constant presence of fuel smell in the area and the apparent leak of gasoline parking area of the building.

A date has detected that the origin of this involvement would be in the containment system of the filling ports (known as "spill container") of a nearby service station, which belongs to Petrobras.

The Delegate has requested the competent authorities to perform technical analysis and issue relevant to their results as soon as possible, also to assess the mitigation efforts undertaken by Petrobras and analyze the state of occupancy of the affected properties.
