Open Government Index assessed by the Agency shows that in Amazonas, Guainía, Guaviare, San Andres, Vaupes and Vichada there are weaknesses in implementation of strategic anti-corruption standards

The Attorney General's Office is concerned about the low level of compliance in implementing anti-corruption standards in the six governorates of the old national territories, specifically the departments of Amazonas, Guainía, Guaviare, San Andres, Vaupes and Vichada and their respective municipalities.

At the table of strategic anti-corruption compliance that took place last April 16 with the territorial authorities of those departments, the governorates of Guaviare, San Andrés and Amazonas sent delegates internal control office, who shall transmit to respective governors and mayors the importance of discipline and administrative liability for violations of the anti-corruption standards.

The National Planning Department, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications, School of Public Administration, the General Archive of the Nation and the Superintendent of Public Services, expressed their readiness and solidarity to guide and ensure better performance of local authorities. However concerned about the lack of interest from the governorates and their respective municipalities, except for the mayor of Puerto Inirida, who made commitments aimed at improving land management.

The Attorney General's Office announced in June that will evaluate the performance of the said local authorities in implementing anti-corruption standards, especially in visibility of public procurement, implementation of the strategy "Government Online", conducting public hearings and document management.
