They cite public hearing and ordered suspension of the mayor of Santana (Boyacá)

The Attorney General's Office cited a public hearing Mr. Henry Forero Armando Sanchez, mayor of the municipality of Santana (Boyaca), the period from 2012 to 2015, to answer for the commission of a disciplinary offense to have possession in the position to be in force in against a ground of disability.

The Attorney General set the date for the initiation of the public hearing on March 13, 2012 at 9:00 a. m., at the headquarters of the Provincial Attorney Velez (Santander).

Also it will inform the disciplined has the right to be assisted by a legal practitioner, to give his own version of events, request and provide supporting evidence within the same diligence.

The investigation was triggered by news that Mr. Sanchez Forero recorded special permanent disability as a result of the sentence handed down against him by the Thirty-Three Court Criminal Circuit of Bogota for the crime of fraud.

During the public hearing Mr. Sánchez Forero may submit oral or written version of the circumstances in which the event occurred that is criticized as a disciplinary offense, and seek or provide evidence that it considers necessary to clarify the facts.

In the order of summons to hearing the public prosecutor ordered the provisional suspension of Mr. Sanchez Forero for a term of three 3 months without pay and asked the lord governor of Boyaca to implement the decision immediately.
