Tuesday June 19 will be released in case against former governor failure of Valle del Cauca

On Tuesday June 19, 2012, at 9:00 am, the Attorney General's Office will release the sense of failure in the trial being conducted in open court against Messrs. Juan Carlos Abadia field, as governor of Valle del Cauca, and Hector Fabio Useche De La Cruz, in his capacity as secretary of Health, for the time of the events.

The events under investigation are related to possible misconduct in the process, selection and contract signing of 0607, held on July 3, 2009 between the Government of Valle del Cauca and the signing Eduardo Bolanos IPS Ltd.

For the prosecution, that contract could have been held without observing the procedures of objective selection of the contractor and the requirements unattended, because apparently he was not registered in the Bank Project of the Government nor had the prerequisites as the study market price or the technical and economic livelihoods.

The Attorney General, upon indictment, the investigation found that probably held the contract in violation of the principles of transparency, accountability, economy and the duty of objective selection.
